M16A1 ZERO TARGET PDF

Bev Fitchett's Guns. The purpose of battlesight zeroing is to align the sights with the weapon's barrel given standard issue ammunition. This sight setting provides the highest hit probability for most combat targets with minimum adjustment to the aiming point. When a straight line is drawn from target center to the tip of the front sight post and through the center of the rear aperture, it makes little difference whose eye is looking along this line.

If this has been discussed in the past sorry, but when when printed what should be the correct size of the squares on the 25 M M16A1 target when printed? There are several PDF's out there and when printed there is a-lot of difference in the printed size AZ, USA. The circle on the silhouette should be 4cm.

RI, USA. The factor of importance is the sight calibration adjustment on the sights. If the target prints small squares one click of adjustment might be one square. If the target prints large squares maybe two clicks for a square. Focus on getting the shots on the white dot if that takes 8 or 16 clicks what do you care?

WI, USA. If you plan on shooting at 25 meters or yards it would be great if you would add your data to this thread. It's always good to see people shooting and zeroing. Thank you. When printing, select "none" inside the print tool scaling option. If the target was properly digitized, selecting "none" should give you the correct dimensions. MI, USA. The sole intention of these 25 meter targets is to allow you to be on paper at full distance. Nothing more. They are meant to save time by getting you close enough to start with so time isn't wasted getting on target at full distance.

Always use them with that foremost in your mind. Final zeroes always have to be confirmed and dialed in over more real estate than 25 meters. About AR Stay Connected. View Quote Cool over think what needs to get done which is the hitting the center white circle if it takes 8 or 16 clicks.

View Quote If you can not- or will not- help the OP with answering their question and insist on being intentionally obtuse, perhaps it is best that you abstain from posting in the thread. I just asked a question View Quote I think that will depend on your sight radius.

More than likely it would have to be a 20" gun for that to be precise. I think. Carbines or middy's would make the dimension a smidgeon different.
