UNSAID THINGS MCFLY BOOK PDF

In , Tom Fletcher released his first solo writing project The Christmasaurus , a book that immediately caught the imaginations of children across the country and has been seen as something of an instant classic. With wife Giovanna Fletcher , Tom has undertaken a new series of dystopian novels beginning with Eve of Man. From the first few pages I was hooked, and simply couldn't put the book down from start to finish. The photos within the book were also very funny and suitable. I am a huge McFly fan and have waited many years for them to bring out a autobiography, and this did not dissapoint! It is funny, endearing and sometimes a little sad, but it is an amazing in sight into the world of

McFly has been my favorite band since I was around 12 years old. They got me through everything and because of them; I met some of my best friends. These four boys mean the world to me and reading this made me understand and respect them so much more. It also brought me back to the best two days in my life.

In September , after waiting 7 years for them to come to the United States, I finally got the chance to see them in concert front row twice, meet them and hang out with them.

Dougie is my McFly has been my favorite band since I was around 12 years old. Dougie is my favorite in the band and has been since the beginning and reading about his secret was heartbreaking. He is so strong and the fact that he came through it is inspiring. I loved everything about this book. I loved how it was written like having a conversation; it felt very personal and honest.

Feb 04, Book Addict Shaun rated it really liked it Shelves: library , I wanted to give this book five stars simply for the introduction. Possibly one of the best and most funniest introductions to a book I have ever read. And the rest of the book was pretty good too. I was expecting this book to be similar to other young musicians books in that it would be in a glossy format with loads of pictures and not much writing when in actual fact it was the total opposite.

Instead it is a funny at times, sad at others and honest all the way through read that any McFly fan will love. I'm not a huge McFly fan and have only ever really listened to their 'hits' over the years however I love autobiographies and if I have even the slightest interest in the subject then I will give it a go and read it. Definitely a book that McFly fans will love and one that even the most hardcore of fans will learn something new about the band after reading it.

Very honest, very personal. It was good to know more about them in their own words. View 2 comments. The book starts off with a prologue where the boys we all know and love are in a hotel, where they are each given massages which start off innocent and turn into awkward sexual encounters. Typical McFly. The book is then separated into thirteen chapters. I like the way it's set out; each member have a paragraph where they talk about things from their perspective, and their name's are written in bold so it's clear who's talking. In the first chapter we get a glimpse of their childhood and I found out a lot that I never knew before.

The second chapter is about how the band got together and it's obvious that McFly were meant to be and they put SO much effort into the band that they deserve the success that they have achieved. There were some moments that I enjoyed more than most. These are the moments that stood out for me. But in this book we found out it was a lot more complicated than that.

I only heard a brief account of it at the time during an interview. Back in the Wonderland days? You can't imagine them arguing. But like all of us, they had their moments. We are told about various heated arguments, especially between two members. That surprised me. But those arguments probably brought them closer together. I can see them as one of those couples who have a long, happy marriage. It took me just over a day to read and I found out so many things about the band that I feel closer to them than ever.

The cover is amazing, and when you take off the dust sleeve there's a blue background and cool pictures of the band on the front and the back cover. When you open the book there's a black and white collage of old tour flyer's and pictures of backstage passes. This book is very artistic inside and out. Plus the title is amazing and fits perfectly with the content.

If you think you know everything about McFly, then think again. View 1 comment. Jan 16, sabienne rated it liked it. Now, I used to love McFly. You could even say I was obsessed with McFly.

Those days are now gone, but something still perked up some interest, so I decided to read the book. And I'm happy I did, it's lovely to read about all the things that were going on behind the scenes during times I still remember. It's a funny book too, and quite moving.

I think partly because it's so honest. And while I think that's great, personally I'm not sure how much happier I am knowing all that went on.

The picture Now, I used to love McFly. The picture in my head was much more rosy-coloured, and that's a nice memory to have. It feels strangely like reality slapped me in the face. Besides, it's not really a beautifully written book.
