Roger Carter has decades of drumming experience. He was first introduced to the world of marching percussion as a student at Mission Viejo High School, and continued his drumming development in Southern California with the Kingsmen and the Velvet Knights. He then spent six years as a staff member with the Blue Devils, winning three DCI titles and two high percussion awards. Roger continued his drum corps teaching experience with the Crossmen and later the Madison Scouts.

Tenor Drums. In , Carter joined the percussion staff of the Bluecoats as a snare tech. In he assumed role of Percussion Caption Head, a position he presently holds. Performing in the lot in front of a crowd with awesome beats in my opinion this is awesome is part of that performance. Will it help them score better? The problem with transcribing drum parts from that long ago is that the video quality of lot videos is generally abysmal, as is the audio. Mon May 11, The groove is the whole reason I love it.
